A: I charge an affordable flat fee for Landlord and Tenant, Residential and Commercial Real Estate cases. However, since all of the other cases are uniquely tailored to an individual client, the legal fee will be calculated on the following factors: (1) the complexity of the case and (2) the amount of time will be necessary to complete the case. I believe that no one should be denied quality legal representation so I attempt to work with everyone to find an affordable solution to your situation.

A: The Law Office of Khari Peter Prescod accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards along with PayPal. Payment plans are always tailored to your particular needs. At times, I typically will allow a legal fee to be paid over a fixed period of time under certain conditions. This will be discussed at the initial consultation.
Q: Do you charge for your initial consultation?
A: If you contact my office between the hours of 4:30pm-6pm I can do up to an half hour of legal advice free of charge. However, if you need more time or an appointment to meet with me is needed then you will be charged a small fee. You can expect me to handle every aspect of the case including court appearances without your presence. In other words unless your case goes to trial, or you just want to attend, your appearance at court is not necessary.
